How did the rose bloom?

Since I have been working with abundance consciousness I am becoming much more aware of my thoughts and their drag on my energy and even my physicality.
Sometimes a thought gives me a sinking feeling or butterflies in my stomach, or I can feel my shoulder tighten or my pulse race. If I didn’t begin the process of sitting with myself, I really wouldn't be able to discern what is happening.
We live at such a fast pace. Have to pick up my daughter from school, teach a class, drive someone to an appointment, make dinner etc. Every day can feel like a race against time…because for many of us, it IS! My antidote and my salvation is to slow down a few times a day and be still while looking into the vastness with my eyes closed. Looking and listening to my thoughts, my breath, my body and my energy, I begin to notice my habitual thoughts and their corresponding effects.
If I didn't look deeper, it would be really hard to understand this process and how to widen the lens of my vision, to think more expansively.
If we don’t take the time to be and listen to what is under the veil in our minds, being stuck and feeling a sense of lack will remain intrenched because our habits are being reinforced without any oversight.
It is mind blowing to understand that these very incessant thoughts can also be the key to unlocking the door to abundance.
I shared about my terrarium last week and how only one little plant is valiantly making it’s way to the sky. When I look at the black earth of the terrarium, I see a field of pure potentiality. If the earth can be weeded and nourished with vitamins, anything can grow there.
Similarly, if we check out our thoughts and acknowledge the weeds of our mind, we can possibly choose another response to the thought and shift into an expansive mindset. If we nourish ourselves with self care that upholds the underlying universal properties of love, compassion, kindness, joy and peace, we live into beauty and abundance.
Dedicate to the moist dark earth of the consciousness where all potential lies and watch your growth!
It Felt Love
How did the rose
Ever open its heart
And give to this world
All its Beauty?
It felt the encouragement of light
Against it's being,
Otherwise we all remain
Too frightened.
